Train While They Stay
Effective Training Made Easy for You
Struggling to find time to train your dog? Heading out of town and worried about your pup’s behavior? At Emily’s K9 Training, our Board and Train program is the perfect solution. While your dog stays with us in a structured, home-based environment, we work on building reliable obedience, addressing unwanted behaviors, and reinforcing positive habits. It’s a convenient and effective way to give your dog a strong training foundation while you focus on work or travel.
Unlike larger programs that take in too many dogs at once, we only accept a small number of dogs into our program at a time. This allows us to provide intensive, individualized attention, which means your dog gets better results in a shorter amount of time. Because of this focused approach, spots fill up fast—so don’t wait to reserve your spot!
Our Board & Train program covers:
2-Week Program
Perfect for puppies or dogs needing a jumpstart in basic obedience. We focus on foundational commands like sit, down, stay, and recall, along with confidence building for dogs showing signs of mild anxiety. Ideal for setting the groundwork and creating a structure at home.
3-Week Program
Designed for dogs needing more reliable obedience and those with moderate behavioral challenges, such as reactivity or light nipping. We reinforce core commands and begin introducing advanced obedience concepts like leash neutrality and impulse control.
4-Week Advanced Obedience
Our most popular program for dogs ready to move into advanced obedience, including off-leash training. Great for dogs struggling with severe anxiety, reactivity, or mild aggression. This program offers more time to reinforce obedience in real-world situations.
5-Week Package
Built for dogs with serious behavioral issues, including aggression, intense reactivity, or high anxiety. We also introduce service dog training foundations and very advanced obedience. This program is ideal for dogs needing the most structure, patience, and clarity to succeed. A temperament test is required if you are interested in service dog work.
