Balanced Training With Real Results

Jack – The Beginning of the Journey

Emily began her dog training journey with her first German Shepherd, Jack, whom she adopted from the Agoura Hills Animal Shelter. The bond between them was instant, and Jack quickly became both a companion and a cornerstone in Emily’s development as a trainer.

Together, they achieved several milestones, including earning their BH, IGP 1, and TKN titles. Jack was also trained to perform service dog tasks, making him a versatile and reliable partner both in public and at home.

From shopping trips and airplane travel to hiking in the Montana wilderness and exploring the streets of Phoenix, Jack experienced it all by Emily’s side. He helped lay the foundation for Emily’s balanced training philosophy and inspired her passion for helping others.

Now retired, Jack enjoys a well-deserved life of rest and relaxation at home while Geralt, Emily’s current working dog, carries on the tradition.

Geralt – The Protector and Partner

Geralt is Emily’s current working dog and a key part of her training team. Since puppyhood, he has shown an incredible drive to work and a steady, composed temperament—especially when helping socialize dogs that struggle around others. He’s a calm, confident presence during training sessions and an invaluable teammate for Emily.

Emily welcomed Geralt as a puppy in 2020, and together they have earned titles including CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and PDC. Geralt has trained at several reputable facilities, including Gold Coast K9 Training, where he worked alongside the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department. His training includes carjacking scenarios, criminal searches, and compound entries—real-world simulations that showcase his versatility and control. He’s as impressive as he is reliable.

Today, Geralt continues to train in personal protection and advanced obedience, supporting both Emily and her clients. He’s not just a working dog—he’s a trusted partner and cherished family member, always learning and growing.

Ember & Ire – The Future in Training

At the end of 2024, Emily welcomed Ember and Ire, two imported working-line German Shepherds, into her home and training program. These promising young dogs mark the beginning of a new chapter in Emily’s journey as a trainer.

Hand-selected for their temperament, genetics, and potential, Ember and Ire are already showing great promise. As they grow and mature, they will be introduced to a wide range of training scenarios—from obedience and socialization to protection work and beyond. Their development will not only expand Emily’s expertise but also allow her to explore new areas of training with a fresh perspective.

While their paths are just beginning, one thing is certain: the future is bright for Ember and Ire, and their journey with Emily is only just getting started.
